Liz has been a Zumba fanatic since 2013, and received her certification to teach in 2017. Since then, she has taught classes at the Victoria University of Wellington, in New Zealand, as well as private classes. When she is not teaching Zumba, she is working towards a PhD in Sociology. 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

Rachel

Rachel Broderick  

 

Rachel began her training in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. She trained and sparred competitively in high school and college. Over the last nine years she has focused more on kickboxing and boxing. She brings her expertise from boxing gyms like Church Street Boxing and has taught both boxing and cardio kickboxing.

Katelynn Cooper

 

Katelynn is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and a FIT CHICKS® Holistic Nutrition Weight Loss Expert. Katelynn went into fitness and nutrition because she wants to spread the good word around food and exercise and how it can change your life for the better. Currently, Katelynn is a personal trainer and a freelance stage manager. She also helps produce our biweekly “Fit Friday” newsletter with nutrition and health tips.

Nichelle Jenkins


Nichelle Jenkins, NASM-CPT and TRX Qualified Trainer, uses fitness training to help power her clients for life. Her methodology of creative and systematic whole body movement training, which powers her own fitness regimen, enhance clients' wellness and improves physical performance. Nichelle has a special interest in training fellow women athletes who, like herself, are over the age of 40. Nichelle is a former Division I college basketball player and attorney. In addition to her work as a fitness professional, she is a commercial model, and a personal empowerment coach and nonprofit consultant with her own practice.

June Li Lo

 

June Li is a 200-hour RYT certified yoga instructor with a focus on the styles of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. With an extensive background in martial arts, especially Capoeira, she has found yoga to be a great way to bring balance and focus to the body and mind while continuing to building strength and flexibility. June Li strives to bring a welcoming environment to each of her classes while creating a sense of empowerment and ease.

Clare O’Malley

 

Clare is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, with specialities in Corrective Exercise Training and Sports Performance. Clare is a singer/actor from Dublin, Ireland, currently working Off-Broadway. Combining her theatrical training with PT, Clare believes in a systematic, periodic, safe, and most importantly enjoyable approach to working out. Fun Fact! She recently trained in Circus Skills (the Lyra, Silks & Rope) for a new musical production!

leeMarieme Priestly

 

leeMarieme is a Certified Professional Fitness Instructor with Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) with a strong dance background. She attended the Ohio State University for dance as well as the Clark Center in New York. She has performed and choreographed with professional companies around the world. She currently instructs dance in NJ and teaches several classes at the studio including HIT and BESST. And look out for her pop-up Belly Dance Fusion classes!

Tiffany Rudi

 

Tiffany has an extensive dance background both performing and teaching ballet, jazz, pointe, contemporary, tap, and musical theatre. As a certified Cardio Barre instructor, Tiffany blends her dancing experience with fitness. Raised in New York, she was most recently freelancing and teaching classes in Las Vegas including Cardio Barre, BHooty Barre, and various dance styles. Join her on Fridays for Happy Hour at the Barre!

Michelle Vanegas

 

Michelle is RYT-200hr certified through Sonic Yoga and recently completed her 500 hour certification under the direction of Johanna Bell and Illumina Yoga. She offers a vinyasa flow style class that explores moving with the breath through lighthearted, playful sequencing. A weekly theme is suggested in order to focus the class as we move towards a peak pose. Michelle intends to create a judgment free space in order for others to celebrate their true authentic selves.

Alison Whitehead

 

Alison is a certified 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer. Alison grew up playing sports and is still an avid runner and soccer player. She found yoga and athletics to be a great combination for the body, mind, and spirit and loves sharing her passion for both and encouraging others to find their own form of self-care. She is currently working toward yoga therapist training.

Jacqui Zaydel 

 

Jacqui is a certified Zumba®  Fitness instructor and Group Exercise certified instructor with the Athletics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Since moving to Jersey City, she is not teaching actively at the studio, but she works remotely on the studio's marketing and communications - she's the one behind your emails! The Heights, her former ‘hood, will always be a special place, and she enjoys any opportunity to sub or take class at the studio!
