I love Studio in the Heights! Lisa, Priest and all of the trainers really care about their students and every single trainer is knowledgable and caring. In the last year and a half, my strength and mobility have improved drastically. Like being able to haul 30 lb laundry bags for blocks and not getting drastically tired! Everyone is phenomenal - I come out of every class happily exhausted and pumped up. Yesterday was my 76th birthday. Ten years ago, Lisa and Priest were giving a free exhibition in our building’s gym. I convinced my wife—who hated exercise—to go. We loved them immediately, and we each signed up for one-on-one weekly personal training sessions. I thought I would just take a few lessons and then work out on my own, but what I didn’t understand is how an expert would correct my posture, my stance and even my attitude. I was unable to do one squat, and now I am lifting 20 pounds in a sumo squat.
