FITNESS ASSESSMENT

A Fitness Assessment is an excellent way to get a snapshot of your current fitness level and help you set personalized, realistic fitness goals.

Whether you’re new to exercise, returning from an injury or simply looking to set results-driven goals, a fitness assessment is a useful tool. One of our Certified Coaches will welcome you to the Studio and get you started on your fitness journey by assessing and evaluating your movement, strength and flexibility and determining which individual or group sessions are best suited to your goals.

Our Fitness Assessment includes an InBody scan. This machine provides an analysis of body composition to track important markers of health. Learn more about the InBody Scan here.

Who will conduct my Fitness Assessment?

If I have an injury or limited mobility, can I still do an Assessment?

Absolutely! The point of the Fitness Assessment is to find out where you’re starting from, not to challenge you beyond what you’re comfortable with.

What should I wear to my Fitness Assessment?

Wear workout clothes and sneakers. If you don’t have workout clothes, come in loose, comfortable clothing that you won’t mind breaking a sweat in. Avoid wearing a belt or button-down shirts.

What if I can't do all of the exercises?

Don’t worry! Our coaches are there to assess your fitness, not to push you beyond your limits. This is just the first step in gaining more confidence in the fitness space.

Do I have to do a Fitness Assessment before takin a class at Studio in the Heights?

The Assessment is recommended as a place to start, so you can set goals and track your progress from day one; however, it is not required to sign up for any of our classes, sessions or programs.Don’t hesitate to reach out to our Head Coach Melissa to determine if a Fitness Assessment is right for you.

How much is a Fitness Assessment?

The session cost is $150. This price includes an InBody scan.

Who is the Fitness Assessment for?

This Fitness Assessment is a great first step if:

-You have never participated in a group or personal fitness class or program in your life, and you’re looking for a place to start

-You are looking to gain mobility in your joints

-You are coming back from an injury or are postpartum and want specific exercises to help you recover

-You are a senior hoping to learn specific exercises for strength, balance and flexibility

-You are an athlete looking to improve strength, power and agility

In short, the Fitness Assessment is for everyone! We're here to meet you where you are, assess what you can and cannot do and discuss next steps to help you achieve your goals.
