A Case of the Mondays

Listen, we get it. Mondays are not always fun. This is especially true if you didn’t have a great weekend - you had too many errands, you had to chauffeur your kids to 362 different events, you couldn’t even squeeze in your workout.

But here’s the thing. Mondays can suck - or they can be what we make them.

We’re not saying you have to joyfully leap out of bed on Monday morning, cheery-eyed and ready to tackle the work week.

But instead of succumbing to a case of the Mondays, try a mindset shift:

Set a goal for the week that you can work towards and look forward to achieving. 

Plan something fun to do on Monday. 

Set yourself up for success. Hate picking out an outfit Monday morning? Lay it out the night before so you have one less decision to make before you have your morning matcha. Packing your lunch the night before can also be helpful and give you one less thing Monday morning. 

Shake up your routine. Take a different route to work. Try something new. Take our Monday Yoga session.

Trying something new is a great way to encourage a positive mindset on a Monday or any other day of the week. It doesn’t have to be something big. Swap out one of your unhealthy lunches for a salad. Dare we suggest you skip the Starbucks coffee and make yourself tea at home instead?

Changing up your routine can be as easy as trying a new instructor or a new class at the Studio.
