SHARED
PERSONAL
TRAINING

Shared Personal Training (SPT) is a small-group resistance training program that helps you get stronger.

Create a solid foundation for strength, mobility, coordination and balance to gain a community in the process. Our program of core and resistance exercises teaches you proper technique based on the foundations of human movement: the six primal movement patterns—squat, lunge, push, pull, bend and twist. These patterns are designed to mimic real-life activities, making your body more efficient and capable in everyday tasks and reducing the risk of injury.

If you’ve never lifted weights before or if you’re serious about strength training— SPT is for you.

SPT sessions offer an in-person strength circuit designed to target major muscle groups.

The small-group format allows you to work at your own pace and set targets that align with your fitness goals. Coaches observe your technique and offer personalized instruction to help you lift safely and efficiently.

Need to adjust an exercise because of an injury? Our coaches are trained to offer modifications and accommodate individual needs. They are happy to answer any questions you may have along the way. We give you the resources to track your progress—over time, you’ll see your improvement. The proof is in the PRs!

Your SPT options.

We offer three SPT classes, each designated to help you develop your fitness in a small-group environment.

SPT: Classic

ALL LEVELS

SPT Classic focuses on building strength with proper form through a circuit of
resistance training.
Sessions are a combination of bodyweight exercise and resistance equipment, dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, freeweights and cables. Participants learn proper techniques to build a solid foundation for strength, posture and injury prevention. If you’re curious about resistance training, or if you’re an athlete looking to get stronger, this is the class for you.

SPT: HIIT

LEVEL 2

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) integrates short bursts of intense effort followed by brief rest periods. It integrates a fast moving circuit of functional resistance training with cardiovascular exercise. The session combines work using dumbbells, sandbags, kettlebells, cables and bodyweight exercises in an interval program that will build strength, burn fat, increase metabolism, and improve overall fitness. We designed this session to level up from SPT Classic.

SPT: Bags, Bells + Blasts

LEVEL 3

Bags, Bells and Blasts (BBB) is a circuited superset of strength exercises using dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, sandbells and bodyweight interspersed with a “blast” of cardio and core training. This is an intense format good for advanced exercisers or athletes that want to build muscular endurance and power and burn fat. This session is recommended for a more advanced fitness participant.

If you are new to exercise, we recommend you start with SPT Classic.

I thoroughly appreciate having this boutique personal training studio in my backyard. The trainers pay close attention to each individual’s posture and goals. The small group Shared Personal Training sessions (SPT) really helped me after physical therapy to regain ‘pain-free’ mobility.

— N. Francois

I like Studio in the Height’s holistic approach; the coaches are qualified and work with clients of different ages and fitness levels. Classes are challenging and, at the same time, tailored to clients' needs. Having been taking classes for 10 years, I continue to see results and improvement in my strength and overall health. This is not just a gym, but a community. Lisa and Priest really care about their clients.

— Catarina Q.

Love and respect your commitment to health and the personal, community-minded way you run the studio. You’ve created an extraordinary place.
